We are particularly delightly that Harry Dunlop of Windsor House Stables in Lambourn bought lot 326 a daughter of Spunger who Harry trained successfully for Barry and Janet before retiring to Hillwood for stud duties. We love this filly and think she has been very well bought by Harry. Spring time

Barry Taylors Tafawut produced a striking chestnut filly on Saturday night. She is a great size for a first foal with a lovely white stripe down her face.

Our first pregnancy scan of the year was positive with Fascination Street being scanned in foal to Mount Nelson. We have two more scans later in the week.

It was with great sadness to learn that Janet Marsden passed away on Saturday after a very brave fight against cancer. Barry and Janets Spunger was successful in training with Harry Dunlop before retiring to Hillwood to become a mum. Janet loved her horses and Spunger loved her for the bags of apples she brought with her on her visits. Janets always smiling face will be very much missed and our thoughts are with Barry.

Happy New Year

We would like to wish everyone a Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year.

We are delighted with the foals that we bought in both Tattersalls and Goffs who have all settled in well.  The yard is still full with horses out of training, breakers and breeze up horses.  The last of the breakers and resting horses will be returning to their trainers by the end of the month.  It is then that the first mares are due to foal.  We aim to keep clients and followers up to date with foaling news and photographs on this page.

We are consigning both Spinning Lucy and Rohlindi at the Tattersalls February Sale.  Spinning Lucy is a two year old stakes winning mare in foal to Aqlaam whose first foals were very well received at the foal sales.  Rohlindi is a placed daughter of Barry Taylor's wonderful mare Rohita.  She is being sold as a filly in training and is a racing or broodmare prospect.
