First Mares are Covered

We have covered our first mares of the season. Fascination Street was covered by Bahamian Bounty on the 13th February & Tafawut by Delagator on the 18th February. We are still waiting on Charlecote to produce her Poets Voice! She is five weeks overdue! I hope she's brewing up a nice colt!

The weather has been un kind to us the last few weeks. Thankfully we have managed to keep going without to much interruption. The guys in the yard have been amazing. Working in this & especially riding the babies has not been pleasant. We are very grateful for all their hard work. Our first Breeze Up horses are starting to have some work away from home. This is always an exciting time but also a little nerve racking! Its great education loading & unloading in different places & seeing different sights. We feel it gives them a great grounding & also makes them more mature individuals. We hope to have news of new arrivals & more covers soon!

Emma still smiling despite the bad weather!!

Its a Boy!

First time Mum Rohlindi produced a cracking colt by Casamento on the 31st Jan. He has beautiful markings and really catches the eye! Rohlindi is proving to be an excellent mum & visits Bated Breath this season.

New foals

Silca Chiave had a lovely big chestnut colt on the 28th March by Medicean. She is due to visit Dubawi this season.

Tafawut followed Silca the following evening by foaling a good looking Dutch Art colt. She is due to visit Bated Breath.

Kempton Breeze up sale did not go to plan as we had to withdraw the Exceed and Excel colt. He cut into the side of his knee at the start of his breeze and was not fit to present to purchasers. We have re entered him in the Tattersalls Guineas sale and think he is an exceptional individual who deserves a second chance. The Mastercraftsman filly was sadly unsold. She has returned to her owners and we hope that she has a successful racing career.

Celebrity has been scanned in foal to Bated Breath.

Jardin foals despite the weather

Jardin foaled a handsome son of Sir Percy on the 24th of March. He is a strong individual and both mum and son are doing very well. Jardin will visit Archipenko this season. The weather has not been very kind to livestock these past few weeks and we are all looking forward to some warmer weather! Be Amazing has been covered by Harbour Watch and Celebrity by Bated Breath.

Our first Breeze up sale is tomorrow and we wish all congsignors and purchasers the very best of luck.

The warm weather is being enjoyed by the foals as this Dutch Art filly is demonstrating!
