Bobs Worth comes for an extended holiday!!!

 

 

 

 

Yesterday was a very exciting day at Hillwood Stud! One of the toughest National Hunt racehorses came to stay! Bobs Worth has had his annual holiday at Hillwood Stud for the last eight years. He is the winner of 11 out of 22 races which includes a Lexus Chase, Cheltenham Gold Cup & Hennessy Gold Cup. He is owned by The Not Afraid Partnership who are the nicest group of people ever to have owned racehorses. Trained brilliantly by Nicky Henderson Bobs has won over £700,000 in prize money.

Harry wasn't born when Bobs first came on his holiday to Hillwood but since Harry could recognise a horse he has loved this boy! They have a special connection with each other which I hope will grow with them over the coming years.

Garden Row foals a stunning filly by Ifraaj.

Another filly has arrived! Proud mum Garden Row had great assistants in Harry & Oliver for her delivery!! Mum returns this season to Bated Breath.

Miss Fifty delivers a handsome colt.

Miss Fifty delivered a handsome colt on the 21st March. A good looking son of Pour Moi he stood & drunk in 20 mins! Mum is returning to Kodiac this season.

Rohlindi delivers a hadsome boy.

Rohlindi produces a lovely colt by Bated Breath on the 2nd March. She visits Dandy Man this season.

Another daytime baby.

 Harry was very happy when Terre Du Vent decided to foal on Sunday afternoon! Terre Du Vent delivered a striking chestnut filly by Australia. Mum visits Oasis Dream this season.

Dutch Art colt arrives.

 Another cracking colt to join the team! A Dutch Art colt out of Sleek arrived on the 17th February. A beautifully marked bay he weighed in at 53kg to a very proud mummy.

Valentine Boy!

 First time mum Lamazonia produced a colt in the early hours of Valentines morning. A handsome bay by the great Sea The Stars he weighed in at 52kg, stood & drunk within half an hour! I hope he is a quick on the track!
